Mild Monk - "My Favorite Song" Music Video & Record Artwork

For Mild Monk, a musician from San José, California, I conceptualized and animated the music video for his single "My Favorite Song". The result is a 4:48-minute collage animation with a psychedelic aesthetic, taking viewers on a seamless journey through a fantastical wonderland. The video features a single continuous camera movement, creating the feeling of drifting through a vivid dream. It’s packed with hundreds of cut-outs and hidden Easter eggs, including botanical illustrations, technical drawings, glitches, photographs and video clips captured by the artist himself.
The film was shortlisted at the Berlin Music Video Awards 2022 and showcased in the Silver Selection Screening Section during the event.
